On September 29 Memory Matters will hold a Lunch and Learn featuring elder care and family law attorney Debbie Britt. Debbie is a wealth of information and is graciously sharing her knowledge with us. Lunch will be provided. There is no charge for this event but you must make reservations. 912-264-0777.
Caregiver Connections are support groups for caregivers of loved ones dealing with dementia. They are a great place to share and learn in a safe, non judgmental group.
On the second Tuesday of every month we offer gentle seated yoga with John Hartland. This is a wonderful hour of stress relieving breathing and stretching. It is open to those dealing with memory loss and people who are caregivers. Caregivers are welcome to come without their care recipients for a much needed break.
This month’s theme is Dancing Through the Decades! All of our activities will be designed to stimulate memories of certain decades.
We ask that you please RSVP to the activities so that we can make sure we have supplies for all participants. 912-264-0777 or firstname.lastname@example.org
